It would be nice to learn more which athletes the different countries are going to field. (There are rumors that the Swedes nominated Martenson again!) I got the Swiss team from the newspaper, no official statement on the federation's web server though: Women: Meister, Kvnig Salmi, Wolf, Gr|niger, Widler, Luder Men: B|hrer, Berger, Plattner, Giger, Niggli "Klvckl, G|nther"@Graphics.Cornell.edu <"Klvckl, G|nther"@Graphics.Cornell.edu> wrote in message ... >Where can I find the teams? > >Guenther >http://www.oefol.at/nolv/

The results from the World Master Orienteering Championship Finals are now ready at the WMOC homepage: http://mmm.uni-c.dk/wmoc99/ Also the split times and the map can be found there. Some of you may have noticed that the results from second qualification and the start lists for the finals were unaccessible yesterday, Thursday. This was due to a router breakdown that isolated a large part of the Danish university network from the internet. We are sorry this happened, but it beyond our control. Sometimes 6, 8, or 12 hours events are run at the same time. A score-o is orienteering where you take controls in any sequence you choose. Often the farthest controls have higher point values. -- Gotta run, Gale +-------------+ GO Orienteering |GO /| 1920 Schiller | ///| Wilmette, IL 60091 USA | /////| | ///////| Phone: (847) 251-2934 | /////////| Fax: (847) 256-1476 | ///////////| |/////////////| Web: www.megsinet.net/~gdt +-------------+ E-Mail: gdt@megsinet.net
