I have been thrashing ocad 7 on win98 and while I have certainly
seen one or two little problems (duly reported to Hans) I have not
encountered anything major. (My favourite bijou featurette is the
pink cast on the entire screen (window) when displaying a grubby 4
bit template that has no white in the palette at all.)
In fact my feeling is that ocad7 is an excellent upgrade which is
well worth acquiring - don't hold back - certainly anyone who has
ocad5 should upgrade, because while ocad7 users can read your
files, you cannot read theirs.
And by the way for all ocad users out there - I thoroughly
recommend re-reading the manual / online help / new feature list.
You will be impressed about the yummy new (and not so new)
features that have popped up in response to requests from users.

Subject: on site accommodations at the 1999 OOC's
Here is the information regarding the on site accommodations at the OOC's.
Both buildings have electricity, tables and chairs, and a carpetted
floor area for sleeping.
There are a few mats and lounger type mattresses, however I would
recommend bringing an air mattress or camp cot and sleeping bag. There
are flush toilets in one building and a privy outside the other building.
There is also a woodstove, electric stove, refrigerator and coin
operated clothes dryer in the main building. I have made arrangements
with the YMCA (15 Km away in Cobourg) for the use of their showers and
swimming pool (during public swimming) Saturday evening. The fee for
these accommodations is a flat $20 per person for the weekend
(Friday &/or Saturday &/or Sunday night).
Please advise me if you intend to stay here. Space will be allocated
on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Roman
